Childrens Museum

We took the last weekend of spring break and went to Chattanooga for the day because their children's museum was having a Korean festival. We had a ton of fun!!

After we enjoyed all the Korean festivities we walked around the rest of the museum. They loved the Bee keeper exhibit and I think Easton only hammered Johns fingers a dozen times or so. ;)

Spring break at home

We had some great weather this year during break (after a rainy and chilly Easter.) We were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine! We went for a lot of walks and played quite a bit!

Olivia got to have a girls day and she and her friend Ava had their toes done. Afterward they came back to our house and played a bit! It was a fun day.

Spring break day 3

Olivia was so brave and did a great job getting her cast on!
I had no idea it was such an easy process! We went and celebrated with Maggie Moos ice cream.

3 weeks and then it was off! He said he could still see the break after the xray but having the cast off would allow her to gain movement and get some strength back.  I love that she never once complained, she didn't miss gymnastics, and she was brave when they cut it off! Way to go sister!!!

She was so excited to get home and get in her sandbox!

Easter egg hunt with Aveee! Spring Break day 2

Olivia's friend Ava had invited us out to where her grandparents were camping (before she broke her elbow) to come play and enjoy an Easter egg hunt. A broken elbow didn't slow our girl down. We went, and I was a bit nervous since it wasn't in a cast yet, and she had a great time!! Easton seemed to enjoy himself as well. :)

Spring break and elbow break--day 1

Our spring break started with Easter prep.  Olivia had gymnastics and while she was there she did a cartwheel and her elbow snapped. She continued and finished practice, but by the time she got home it had swelled and she was in pain. Of course it was a Friday night. The Friday before Easter nonetheless. So, I decided we should go get an xray. I figured torn ligaments or tendons, maybe a sprain. Nope, broken. So we left with a wet cast (for the swelling to continue), a sling, and an appt with an orthopedic for that Monday.

Spring blog catch up-- Happy Easter

Before summer officially starts I wanted to post a few catch up posts. So coming up is Easter, spring break, and the end of school. Then I will feel better! :) This has been one of those things that just hasn't happened lately!
We had a great Easter. It rained on Easter Sunday so we didn't get to do our egg hunt outside. We waited a few days and did one later once the sun was out! We dyed eggs and went to church. Olivia always loves any time she gets with her cousins so that was a plus! We can't seek to put our hands on our memory card which is why I haven't blogged. I don't have our Easter pics, so I can only post what I do have. I have started using my phone for pics since it works just as well. :)
