Happy Thanksgiving

I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone and I now sit looking at our Christmas decorations. What a wonderful weekend with lots of family time. This may have topped one of my favorite Thanksgiving's ever. Nothing out of the ordinary, but kids laughing and playing, watching movies all together, eating until we felt sick, some outside playing, napping (I think that was just me), and a little shopping (online and local boutique bazaar). It was family time. I think I feel my absolute best when I have my little family at Mammy and Buppy's house along with my sister and her people.  That fills my heart with a lot of thanks, love and appreciation for each member of our silly, crazy family!

Competition season begins....

Olivia has had 2 competitions so far this season.  She is still nervous on the floor, but has improved from last season.  I so wish that she could show confidence out there!  I am hopeful that she will get there soon.  For as terrified as she seems out there, she wants to do more.  I don't get it, but I will love it if she loves it.  Here is her bar routine from Friday night.

Fall break fun

We stayed home over fall break and luckily we had nice, warm weather.  We went to lowes, painted pumpkins, fed the ducks and played at the park and just enjoyed being home.

They got these glasses at lowes!  They are ready to see the Christmas lights.

Happy Halloween!

It was a rainy Halloween, but we managed to eat pizza at our neighbor's house, trick or treat, hand out candy and enjoy time with Mammy and Buppy.  Olivia and Easton had a blast trick or treating this year.  I love that Olivia finally took off and went to doors on her own (with her brother of course!)  He has helped her be able to do things without us holding on to her.  Just knowing he is right there with her gives her a little confidence to go to a door and say, "trick or treat!"

Buppy out does himself each year, but says no more characters!  Hmmm, I don't think he will tell 4 pitiful little ones no next year.  ;)  He sure is the best Buppy around!

A quick picture with Olivia before she ran off to the next house!
