The aftermath of the party!

I woke up Sunday morning and looked at my house.  It looked like a bomb went off in the kitchen and den.  Apparently when I went to bed I overlooked every bit of it! We looked at his toys and read his new books.  He was one happy kiddo!

Check out his new ride from his Mammy and Buppy!  His first Harley!

His Nana got him a great train set, but everytime we start to get it together, he takes it apart.  It will be fun if he will let us show him how it works! :)

John and Olivia had to run some errands, so we took some selfies with the camera and played with some of his new trucks!

Party Time!

Saturday we had Easton's party.  He spent most of his party sitting at the picnic table yelling, "ipa," which is 'chip.'  He cleaned his plate while eating with everyone else and then wanted more chips.  I didn't think we would ever get to cake.  Everyone else enjoyed the bouncy house in the yard, the big football, trampoline, sandbox and swing set.  It turned out to be a great party and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  What better way to celebrate your first birthday home than with a good ole TN VOLS party?!?!  I have had this party in my head for the last 2 years.  It is really hard not to "girly" up a boy party.  Definitely going to be a challenge in the coming years.

I can't help but laugh as I watch the food progression of his time at the table.

Alone again!

And he finally decided to be done.

When we started singing Happy Birthday he started smiling and clapping for himself!

I love my dad's expression in this picture.

I didn't know that mom felt like poop.  I felt like death, too.  You really can't tell in this picture!!  Sure am lucky that she is MY mom!

A few pics with friends! Love these girls!

Mom and her best friend from High school.  She has always been a part of our family, but now that she is retired we get to see her!!

Present time!!!  All the guests had gone and they couldn't stand it any longer!  I was going to let him open them at the party, but he spent so much time eating....

Annelyn is turning into quite the little artist!  Great fire hat Annelyn!

We had a great time!  I sure wish we had gotten to celebrate the last 2 birthday's with him, but the memories of this party will last forever.  We love you, kid!  We are so glad that you were home this year to celebrate with us.
